Orthopaedic & Hand MRI (OHM) – Central Singapore

The Assistant Credit Controller supports the Credit Control team in managing the company’s accounts receivable. The role involves ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in credit risk assessments, all while providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform weekly receipts reconciliation to HIS
  2. Forward invoices when requested to customers
  3. Follow up on overdue accounts and execute debt collection activities
  4. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in non-payment of invoices
  5. Ensure monthly debt collection performance tracking meeting KPI
  6. Resolve disputes and escalate unresolved issues
  7. Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
  8. Prepare bi-weekly and present credit reports
  9. Liaise with internal/external customers to maintain strong relationships
  10. Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency
  11. Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by management

Requirement

  1. At least a Diploma in Finance, Business, Accountancy or a relevant discipline.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant working experience in credit control; experience in healthcare would be advantageous.
  3. Service-oriented and results-driven.
  4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team player.
  6. Independent, fast learner with minimum supervision.
