Role Overview:

As an Assistant Credit Controller, you will be contributing to the enhancement of our customer-centric strategies. You will be at the forefront of ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience, focusing on Customer Limit Requests, Credit Insurance, FCI and Operational Receivables Management. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping and optimizing our approach to customer assessment, risk management, and relationship building. Responsibilities:

  • Assess and review credit limits for customers/factors, or apply limits from trade credit insurer/import factors, in a timely manner.

  • Issue notification letters and update records in the system.

  • Perform debt verification and overdue management to control risk and support funding.

  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with customers for lead generation strategies.

  • Handle periodic reporting and all matters related to credit insurance, such as payments for limit application fees and premiums.

  • Streamline processes and be involved in system enhancements.

Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma in Finance, Business, Accountancy or a relevant discipline.

  • At least one year of experience in credit assessment and credit control management.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a strong focus on risk-control.

  • Enjoy communicating with customers.

  • Effective interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

  • Meticulous, self-motivated, resourceful and adaptable.

  • Experience and knowledge in Trade Credit Insurance and FCI’s GRIF rules are advantageous.
