Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender submissions including technical proposals, pricing, and contractual terms.
  • Analyse tender documents (e.g. drawings, specifications, conditions of contract) and identify risks, clarifications, and requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (QS, engineering, procurement) and external stakeholders (consultants, suppliers, subcontractors) to gather tender inputs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of tenders in accordance with client requirements.
  • Maintain and update the tender tracking system, and support pre- and post-tender clarifications.
  • Assist in cost estimation, BOQ review, and value engineering proposals.
  • Support the Contract Manager in negotiating terms and conditions for awarded contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in tender and contract processes.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience in tendering or contracts administration in the construction/engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of contract types and tender processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office and contract management software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience in school and hotel project tenders.
  • Familiarity with local tender platforms and procurement systems.
  • Knowledge of legal and financial aspects of contracting.
