Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of tender submissions including technical proposals, pricing, and contractual terms.
- Analyse tender documents (e.g. drawings, specifications, conditions of contract) and identify risks, clarifications, and requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments (QS, engineering, procurement) and external stakeholders (consultants, suppliers, subcontractors) to gather tender inputs.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of tenders in accordance with client requirements.
- Maintain and update the tender tracking system, and support pre- and post-tender clarifications.
- Assist in cost estimation, BOQ review, and value engineering proposals.
- Support the Contract Manager in negotiating terms and conditions for awarded contracts.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in tender and contract processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in tendering or contracts administration in the construction/engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of contract types and tender processes.
- Proficient in MS Office and contract management software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience in school and hotel project tenders.
- Familiarity with local tender platforms and procurement systems.
- Knowledge of legal and financial aspects of contracting.
