Ensure strong commercial outcomes through effective cost control, risk management, and contract oversight.
Participate in tender and project reviews for major projects to ensure accurate forecasting and risk mitigation.
Provide guidance to project and QS teams to improve tender reviews, cost reporting, and procurement practices.
Promote consistent cost reporting practices across teams.
Review contract specifications and suggest procurement and legal strategies during pre-contract stages.
Audit ongoing projects for cost accuracy, contract compliance, and team performance.
Support in resolving commercial/legal issues including EOTs and claims.
Advise project teams on improving cost control, P/L analysis, and profit-loss root cause assessments.
Conduct training sessions for QS and project teams on cost control systems, procurement, and contract management.
Coordinate meetings and liaise with subsidiaries on cost-related matters.
Support system improvements for cost and contract reporting.
Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to the review of internal policies.
Undertake business travel as required to support regional offices.
Requirements:
At least 10 years of relevant experience with strong coordination background.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Solid understanding of cost and risk management.
Proficient in MS Office.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
High integrity and in-depth knowledge of industry best practices.
