An established industry player is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will liaise with the construction team to prepare documents for RFQs and tenders, coordinate queries, and assist in the administration of subcontracts. Your expertise in quantity surveying and contract management will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations throughout the project lifecycle. Job Responsibilities:
• Liaise with construction team to prepare document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender
• Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitation for RFQs
• Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage
• Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team
• Assist commercial manager and contracts manager with quantity surveying matters relevant to Sub-Contract, Works Order and Purchase Order.
• Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts
• Handle payment request received from subcontractors and suppliers
• Any other adhoc tasks assigned by Contracts Manager
Job Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Survey, Purchasing/Procurement, Business, Engineering
• 5-10 years’ experience in quantity surveying and sub-contract administration of Construction Project
• Possess the relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Contract/Construction Law
• Experience with LTA Project is preferable
