What you will be doing:
Contracts
Support the internal review of upstream and downstream contracts alongside the Company’s support functions including legal, compliance, risk, data privacy, information security, etc.
Coordinate the submission and approval of dispensation requests to the regional or global Head of Legal and Head of Compliance.
Assist in developing, maintaining and updating the Company’s in-house contract templates in alignment with the Company’s needs and market norms.
Consulting
Identify areas where the Company’s policies and processes can be improved or made more efficient, and support the necessary efforts to implement such improvements.
Stay abreast of industry developments relating to contract matters.
Negotiation
Support the in-country Head/Deputy Head of Service on negotiation of client contracts.
Advise the in-country Head/Deputy Head of Service on negotiation of subcontracts.
Day-to-day Support
Assist in developing, maintaining and updating high-level project trackers for the Company’s visibility and reference.
Support the Company on operational matters related to project award and delivery.
You are:
Bachelor’s Degree (or a recognised equivalent) in quantity surveying, construction management, building science or similar areas.
Five to eight years of experience in a commercial or contract role within the broader building and construction industry.
Work experience in a large and diverse multi-national company is preferred.
Professional accreditation from recognised local/global industry institutions e.g. RICS, CIOB, etc. is preferred.
