GLOBAL-ASM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Finance Manager to support financial management across Singapore, Australia, and India.

You will partner with local leadership and the Shared Service Centre to ensure accuracy, compliance, and commercial insight to drive growth. Daily tasks include revenue recognition oversight, monthly closings, and preparing management reports with variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, revenue recognition principles, and management accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into commercial insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue recognition and reconciliation across Singapore, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
• Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including oversight of key financial processes and controls.
• Coordinate closely with the Shared Service Centre (Malaysia) to ensure timely and accurate monthly closing, including review of journals, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial and management reports to corporate, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Act as the primary finance business partner to local management teams, providing financial insights to support commercial decisions.
• Support audits, internal reviews, and ad-hoc finance projects as required.
• Maintain the timesheet system, ensuring team members submit their timesheets on time and verifying the accuracy.
• Provide general assistance to the finance teams as needed.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Assistant Commercial Finance Manager to support the financial management and operations of our business across Singapore, Australia, and India.
