Job Title: Assistant Civil Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Assistant Civil Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in civil and construction projects. The candidate will support senior engineers in site supervision, project coordination, and documentation, while also handling administrative tasks to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of civil works.
- Regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, and report site conditions.
- Support senior engineers in supervising contractors and ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of works.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, BOQs, and project documentation.
- Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining records, preparing reports, filing documents, and updating project logs.
- Assist in cost estimation, material take-offs, and procurement coordination.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers for project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and local regulations.
- Provide technical and administrative support to the project team as required.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil/construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
- Strong organizational skills for both technical and administrative duties.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Able to handle both site supervision and office-based admin work effectively.
