As Assistant Chief Steward, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of hygiene and cleanliness of kitchens and stewarding areas
  • Maintaining hotel operating equipment in compliance with FLHSS&E standards
  • Participating in regular outlet walk-throughs and managing follow-ups
  • Conducting daily inspections of kitchens and stewarding areas
  • Coordinating ice machine cleaning standards with engineering
  • Supporting the Stewarding Manager with labor and chemical costs
  • Monitoring and managing breakages and losses of hotel operating equipment
  • Ensuring all functions and events are prepared according to Banquet Event Orders
  • Managing manpower allocation across outlets in coordination with outsourced companies
  • Training MOSIN and contracted colleagues
  • Overseeing special projects assigned by the Stewarding Manager
