Job summary

EUROFINS STATS ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail‑oriented chemistry graduate with 1–2 years of lab experience to support preparation, testing, data recording, and reporting in a quality‑driven lab setting.

You will perform sample prep, testing per SOPs, data entry, method validation, calibration, and maintain equipment while adhering to ISO 17025 standards and safety policies. On‑site in Singapore, with a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a testing laboratory.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Able to troubleshoot test results and implement corrective actions.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 laboratory quality management systems is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Job description

Preparation & Testing

• Prepare samples


• Ensure tests are carried out in accordance with requirements of test methods, SOPs, and quality policies of the laboratory


• Ensure that tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner


• Prepare legible and accurate data and raw records for further review


• Perform method validation and measurement uncertainty evaluations for tests


• Perform calibration and maintenance for the equipment used for tests.


• Upkeep cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment after use


• Maintain adequate laboratory inventory (reagents, chemicals, and consumables) to support testing operations

Result Reporting & Vendor(Sub-Contractor) Management

• Evaluate test results


• Deliver reports on test results to clients


• Manage workflow of jobs assigned to sub-contractors and monitor delivery of work in a timely and accurate manner


• At all times, adopt safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the Health and Safety of employees and clients, in line with company policies and procedures


• Adhere to ISO17025 standards and internal QA/QC requirements


• Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent


• Minimum 1-2years of relevant experience in a testing laboratory


• Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral


• Able to solve problems, troubleshoot test results, and implement the necessary corrective actions.


• Must be able to multi-task and work effectively in fast paced environment
