Who are we looking for?

The incumbent for this position will perform receiving, in-process and outgoing inspection as well as analyze results using statistical techniques for any trend violation.

What will you be doing?

• Perform acceptance tests on receiving material, in-process intermediates, and Finished Goods.
• Analyze customer RTV/in-house retain samples to support customer complaints investigation and/or process troubleshooting.
• Support QC measurements for engineering studies, product scale-up, and technology transfer.
• Review SPC trend and highlight any trend abnormality to production engineering.
• Issue Production Batch Ticket to production via JDE ARS system.
• Advise on rework procedures to Production.
• Conduct calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Conduct periodic Measurement System Analysis.
• Liaise with vendor on maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of lab equipment.
• Generate monthly SPC report for customers.
• Generate COA (LIMS).
• Generate monthly scrap report.
• Internal auditor for management system (QMS/EMS/OHSAS).
• Ensure good housekeeping of the laboratory at all times.
• Any other tasks as assigned.
• Able to perform overtime when required.

Who are You?

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Chemistry with 1-2 years experience.
• Preferably worked in a chemistry lab environment, familiar with processing chemical samples.
• Ability to operate analytical instruments with minimal supervision.
• Able to perform overtime when required.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
