Job Summary

Responsible for the Performance Chemicals Department’s activities, which includes sales, marketing, technical services, inventory management, operation expense management, and P&L accountabilities. This position requires the job holder to plan and manage selling operations of the Department to achieve sales targets and sales income as well as to ensure meeting the expectations and needs of all customers and principals.

Job Responsibilities

• Develops and executes the Department’s business plan in line with Regional and Company business strategy.

• Prepares and recommends yearly sales and expense budgets including direct and control sales activities and operations of the Department in order to achieve budgeted sales target and forecasted collection target.

• Develops effective sales and marketing plans and strategies based on RBU/country strategies and conducts market research for new markets, new product development, market information, and industrial movement.

• Implements sales and marketing plans and strategies and regularly follows up to ensure meeting of budgeted sales target and income.

• Reviews products’ performance and stock provision.

• Delivers to principals’ representative requirements including coordinate and attend to principals visits to meet their objectives, reviews sales performance and activities, submits timely monthly reports, and continuously updates C4C information as well as sample database record.

• Collaborates with principals/suppliers on technical and commercial issues to develop business benefiting both parties; including review on price negotiation.

Job Requirements

• Degree in any discipline, preferably with Chemistry background. Experience in chemical sales.

• Excellent selling skills with strong knowledge of sales processes, service standards, sales forecasting, and budgeting.

• Those who have experience in either of these: plating chemical, additives, catalyst (petrochem), Oleochemical, waste water treatment, batteries, Green Energy, PCBA Manufacturing, Gold/Silver plating is advantageous.

• Good presentation skills.
