Responsibilities:
- Manage the nomination / acceptance of the performing vessel including compliance procedures.
- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the chartered vessels including ETA notices and cargo readiness.
- Coordinate with agents for the arrival / departure formalities of the chartering vessels including berthing and un-berthing.
- Monitor the day-to-day loading / discharging of the vessels.
- Provide vessels arrival, berthing, loading / discharging, and departure information to Chartering Manager.
- Resolve charter party and bills of lading disputes.
- Prepare laytime statements and negotiate demurrage, detention, and despatch.
- Manage payment of freight and demurrage / detention if any.
Requirements:
- Minimum A Levels / Diploma / Degree in a relevant discipline.
- 3 years of relevant experience with dry bulk cargoes.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills using sound, inclusive reasoning and judgment.
