Alexandra Hospital in Singapore seeks an experienced architect to lead planning studies for its upcoming campus, translating clinical and operational needs into sustainable, patient-centered built environments that support long-term goals.

You will oversee redevelopment strategies, evaluate infrastructure opportunities, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated planning and design aligned with organisational priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related built environment discipline with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience in institutional, commercial, or healthcare projects; exposure to planning studies or feasibility assessments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop practical recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across diverse groups.
• Comfortable in ambiguous environments with sound judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Adaptable, organised, and collaborative in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning studies, feasibility assessments, and option evaluations to identify and recommend effective campus development and infrastructure solutions.
• Engage stakeholders to define project requirements and translate operational, clinical, and service needs into functional planning strategies and development briefs.
• Coordinate consultants, public agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated planning and design solutions aligned with project objectives and organisational priorities.
• Review planning and design proposals to ensure compliance with technical, operational, regulatory, and strategic requirements.
• Support management and governance decision-making through insightful analysis, planning recommendations, and the preparation of business cases, reports, and presentations.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring healthcare planning trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices to enhance future campus planning initiatives.
