Job summary

Mediacorp Pte Ltd is seeking a camera operator to handle professional camera work across studio sets and outdoor broadcasts, aligned with broadcast standards.

You will set up camera systems per production plan, assist on various modes, and collaborate with stakeholders to capture footage with proper angles and movement. Applicants should have relevant Nitec or Diploma and be flexible for shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience operating professional camera systems in broadcast settings.
• Familiar with studio and outdoor shooting environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot on set to maintain output quality.

• Assist cameraman in performing basic camera work on various operational modes (i.e Pedestals, Tracks, Tripods, Handheld or Gimbal)
• Work with stakeholders during production to ensure visuals are captured, i.e. camera position, techniques and angles of shots
• Keep up to date with industry filming methods and equipment, receptive to innovative ways of filming

Executes professional camera work across diverse settings, including controlled studio sets and dynamic outdoor live broadcasts. The scope of the role demands a high degree of operational agility, as shift patterns and dates are dictated by broadcast schedules and live event requirements.

• Good working knowledge of camera systems, lenses and camera support equipment, assist in maintaining camera equipment
• Knowledge in Jibs, Gimbals and Steadi-Camera
• Able to solve problems on the spot to ensure output quality is not compromised
• Able to work shifts and weekends
