The National University of Singapore is seeking candidates for up to 10 tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Food Science and Technology. The Department of Food Science and Technology at the National University of Singapore is recruiting up to 10 tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor.
We welcome applications from candidates in all emerging and interdisciplinary areas of food, human nutrition, and urban agriculture. We especially encourage candidates with research experience in production-to-consumption food systems, food and nutrition security, and scientific innovations and novel technologies addressing global food challenges.
Tenure-Track Faculty Positions:
Applicants should hold a PhD in a related field from a reputable university. A minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral experience is required; industrial experience is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to establish an independent research program capable of securing external funding. Responsibilities include guiding research students and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Selection will be based on the applicant’s research accomplishments and potential for future contributions.
Remuneration:
The package will be internationally competitive, including an annual performance bonus, salary increment, subsidized housing, medical benefits, and substantial research support.
