A growing manufacturing company in Singapore seeks a reliable Assistant Accounts Manager. This role involves managing financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, supervising staff, and supporting budgeting and compliance tasks. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, at least 5 years of experience, and strong leadership skills. Local Singaporeans preferred.
We are a growing manufacturing company seeking a reliable and experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to support our CFO and GM (HR). This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership and grow into a Manager role based on performance.
Job Title: Assistant Accounts Manager (ID1682)
Location: Gul Circle
Working Hours: Monday- Friday : 7.30am to 4.30pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm. Sat (Once a month) 8.50am to 6.00pm
Basic Salary: up to $6000
Benefit: AWS, performance bonus, department commission structure, AL 14 days
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
• Manage AP, AR, GL; able to handle full sets of accounts independently
• Supervise accounts staff and ensure timely, accurate financial operations
• Handle GST submissions, month-end closing, and management reporting
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow, costing, and financial planning
• Support year-end closing, audits, and statutory reporting (SFRS compliance)
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow/payment schedules
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reports
• Support inventory costing, job costing, and fixed asset tracking
General Support
• Assist in admin and compliance tasks as assigned by CFO/GM(HR)
• Support HR-finance documentation and regulatory submissions
Requirements
• Local Singaporean only
• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Min. 5 years' experience, with 3 years in the same company
• At least 2 years in a senior/supervisory accounting role
• Strong knowledge of SFRS and local statutory regulations
• Proficient in accounting software, Excel, and MS Office
• Knowledge of MOM/work pass procedures and WSH policies is a plus
• Leadership ability to guide junior staff
• Willing to work 1 Saturday per month
