We are a growing manufacturing company looking for a reliable and experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to join our team reporting to CFO and GM(HR). This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of their role and grow into an Manager position based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage partial sets of accounts (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger), and be fully capable of handling full sets of accounts independently when required.
- Oversee and supervise accounts staff to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate GST submissions, monthly closings, and management reporting.
- Support the CFO with budgeting, cash flow management, cost analysis, and financial planning.
- Assist with year-end closing, external audits, and preparation of statutory reports in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow and payment schedules.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports to aid decision-making.
- Support inventory costing, fixed asset tracking, and job costing.
General Support
- Must be willing to assist in administrative and compliance-related tasks when called upon by the CFO and GM (HR), including areas related to HR-finance coordination, documentation, and regulatory submissions.
Job Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 consecutive years in the same company.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or senior-level accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of SFRS and local statutory regulations.
- Strong proficiency in accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office tools.
- Knowledge of Singapore employment regulations, work pass procedures, and WSH policies is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide junior staff and manage workflow effectively.
- Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Willing to work one Saturday per month.
