About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, within the Finance Department, the Assistant Accounting Manager – Income Audit is responsible for managing the hotel Income Audit operations. The Assistant Accounting Manager – Income Audit reports to the Assistant Director of Finance.

As Assistant Accounting Manager - Income Audit, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Managing the hotel Income Audit operations.
• Preparing financial revenue reports.
• Performing all revenue internal control audits.
• Preparing revenue financial analysis.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Managing accounting and internal control procedures.
• Having a good understanding of internal controls in the hospitality industry.
• Liaising with auditors, bankers, and tax agents regarding statutory audits and tax reporting and compliance.
• Performing cross-functional duties, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

What we expect from you

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level education or equivalent certification.
• ACCA or recognized accounting qualifications preferred.
• Relevant accounting experience in the hospitality industry with at least 2 years of managerial and accounts payable supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel PMS, POS, Sun Accounting System, and Hyperion System is an advantage.
