Assistant Accountant/Accountant
Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Handle partial/full sets of accounts - GL, AP, AR
- Perform data entry of bank transactions and invoices into ACCPAC system
- Update daily cash book of day-to-day transactions
- Process and record invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
- Assist with initiating and processing internal and external bank transfers
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management/financial reports
- Provide support to the finance team as needed
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting & Finance/Business Administration
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting roles
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills in English and Chinese are preferred for communicating with Chinese counterparts
