Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will manage full financial records and accounts, perform month-end closings, and assist in audits and tax submissions. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess strong analytical skills. You will also liaise with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Assistant Accountant (12 months Contract) - Singaporean & Locals only

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Handle and maintain full set of financial records (in excel) and accounts for the Company and its businesses, including that of its related entities;

2. Perform month end closing with financial analysis for management reporting for local and overseas assets and businesses;

3. Partner internal and external stakeholders to prepare timely and accurate forecasts and budgets of all assets and businesses;

4. Assist in annual audit and tax submission;

5. Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements;

6. Liaise with internal and external parties for all accounting or finance, banking, corporate secretarial, audit and tax related matters;

7. Support system implementation/improvements;

8. Carry out and assume any other responsibilities or ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. Self-motivated, meticulous, hands on, able to multi-task and work independently and proactively within a team;

2. Good communication and analytical skills;

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;

4. Good understanding of Financial Reporting Standards and relevant statutory requirements;

5. Good degree in accountancy or equivalent;

6. Real estate experience preferred.

7. Fluent in speaking, reading & writing Chinese (Mandarin), dealing with chinese clients.
