Job description

Job Purpose

Play an active and hands-on role in overseeing financial transactions of the Hire Purchase operation and ensuring accurate and compliant bookkeeping. Supports business growth by providing business insights through critically analyzing all aspects of the financial numbers and data points.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare management reporting and assists in the formulation of business budgeting and plans.
  • Involved in the day-to-day operation of the Hire Purchase business which includes liaising with banks, customers and operation.
  • Ensure timeliness of collection from customers (e-GIRO) and repayment to the Banks whilst performing account reconciliation including loan disbursement and credit facilities.
  • Involve in the implementation of system/software which improve the efficiency of the business operation.
  • Development of cash flow and other financial modelling which facilitate business strategy formulation and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or CPA with at least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting/financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Excel and possess strong numeracy skills.
  • Strong service orientation and good interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, meticulous, resourceful and analytical.
  • Ability to multi-task in a team environment while able to work independently.
