Role Purpose

The primary responsibilities of this role are to support the Finance Operations team in managing all accounts payable and receivables tasks. This role also requires close collaboration with other departments and regional colleagues to support local and regional transformation projects.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers. Ensure all invoices are properly supported and accurately booked to the AP module in a timely manner.
  2. Expense Reimbursement: Process and review employee reimbursements to ensure compliance with company policies.
  3. Payment Processing: Prepare and execute payment runs in Oracle, ensuring all payments are made within agreed terms and in compliance with company policies. Payments include, but are not limited to, invoices, staff reimbursements, reinsurance, return premiums, broker commissions, intercompany, and interbank transfers.
  4. Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing accruals and journal entries.
  5. Audit Schedules and Bank Reconciliation: Prepare monthly audit schedules and perform bank reconciliations.
  6. Intercompany Invoices: Prepare quarterly intercompany invoices, validating expenses before sending to affiliates.
  7. Record Incoming Receipts: Record incoming receipts (UA) and maintain a listing of unallocated receipts.
  8. Additional Duties: Undertake any other finance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or higher qualification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in ERP Oracle.
