A leading facilities management company is seeking an Assistant Account Manager / Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of client accounts in Singapore. This role involves strategic direction, operational management, and ensuring client satisfaction while also managing financial targets. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to enhance client relationships.
Job Summary
The Assistant Account Manager / Account Manager, Contracts Management is responsible for leading a portfolio of client accounts. The role is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of key accounts within the portfolio assigned. It is responsible for developing and driving the strategic plan for each client account and meeting and improving client satisfaction and financial targets, including growth and margin targets, key people metrics, and operational metrics. The role is the key interface to country business functions, leading and guiding the team executing strategic initiatives, enhancing client satisfaction and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Account and Contract Management
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Ensure a strategic business plan for the delivery of the services across all client accounts and be responsible for the delivery of that plan as required.
Ensure compliance with all client contracts, meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Ensure the processes and procedures within the account are monitored and updated. Continually review processes and procedures across the accounts for best practices and consistency
Ensure regular client engagement to establish close partnerships and collaborations
Ensure all contractual and ad-hoc reports are delivered on time.
Ensure delivery of services are aligned and compliant with ISS vision and strategy, account contractual KPIs and local legislation.
Drive account excellence by maintaining close collaboration with support functions within ISS
Continuously improve process and explore and drive innovation.
Drive a safety conscious culture across the account and ensure that all works are carried out in a safe manner.
Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environment and Risk Management policies and procedures.
Ensure all HSE incidents are reported as client and ISS reporting procedures.
Drive a service and performance excellence culture within the delivery and operational management teams that supports openness, teamwork, collaboration, performance excellence and personal success.
Supporting the operations in the overall account performance.
Financial Management
Meet or exceed financial targets set for the accounts
Participate, set the budgets and monitoring for the delivery of services and ensure compliance to those budgets.
Participate in regular account performance meetings such as forecasting and accrual activities.
Ensure all financial reports are accurate and timely as per the agreed timeline set out under the agreement.
Ensure the account is paid as per payment terms within required terms set.
Others
Undertaking roles in projects that supports the company’s or departments initiatives
Minimum Require Education, Skills and Experience
A tertiary qualification in Building / Facilities Management, Business Administration or related subject preferred, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Facility, Property or related field.
Has experience leading and managing account structures, running multiple teams across multiple locations and projects.
Has demonstrated experience in balancing the interests of the Client with those of the company.
Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate teams toward achieving strategic objectives.
Flexible – able to adapt and effectively deal with rapidly changing, stressful situations
Ability to initiate and follow through with initiatives
Strong analytical, organization and presentation skills
Demonstrated strong relationship and stakeholders management
Strong finance management
Able to work independently and be a team player
Exhibits honesty & trustworthiness
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft suite of products essential
