Job Title: Full-Time Reliever – Security Officer

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Full-Time Reliever to join our Security team, providing coverage across multiple high-profile sites in Sydney.

In this role, you will support operational needs by covering a mix of planned leave, unplanned absences, and regular shifts across our three key contracts. You must be available to work across the following sites:

Port Botany

Sydney Airport

This is a full-time, mobile position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable moving between varied sites and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Step into active security posts at short notice and quickly learn site-specific protocols
  • Monitor CCTV and conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity
  • Control access and verify credentials of personnel, contractors, and visitors
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and alarms
  • Accurately document events and complete detailed incident and handover reports
  • Engage respectfully with clients, the public, and colleagues to foster a safe environment
  • Enforce company and client policies with integrity and discretion
Qualification
  • Proven experience in security or similar roles preferred
  • Holds a valid security license and up-to-date first aid certification - NSW.
  • Holds a valid Drivers Licence - NSW.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude
  • Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Quick to adapt to new sites, teams, and procedures
