Job summary

Maybank Asset Management Singapore is seeking an experienced compliance professional to lead the Compliance function for our asset management business. The successful candidate will oversee regulatory compliance and AML/CFT frameworks, providing guidance to the business and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, reporting to Head of Compliance and subsidiaries, updating policies, conducting regular regulatory awareness

Qualifications

• Lead the Compliance function for the asset management business.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and AML/CFT framework.
• Provide compliance guidance to the business and ensure policy adherence.
• Conduct compliance monitoring and escalation as per plan.
• Maintain and update Compliance Manual and internal policies.
• Deliver regular firm-wide regulatory awareness training.
• Perform AML/KYC checking and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Risk Management on process implementation and review.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Compliance and AML matters within Maybank Asset Management Singapore.
• Undertake compliance monitoring activities as prescribed within the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
• Record, escalate, and track issues to resolution.
• Produce reports for Head of Compliance and related subsidiaries.
• Update Compliance Manual and internal policies in response to regulatory changes.
• Facilitate regulatory training across the firm.
• Conduct AML/KYC checks and monitoring activities.
• Work with Risk Management on process implementation and review.
