Job summary

Nomura is seeking a NAM Compliance Officer Associate to join the SG Compliance team in Singapore. You will help ensure adherence to asset management regulations, monitor guidelines, and support cross-border compliance with MAS requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with NAM SG stakeholders, regulators, and regional teams, delivering daily compliance advice, governance support, and training to promote a strong risk and control culture within the NAM SG business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance focused on asset management.
• Strong understanding of asset management products, services and MAS requirements.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Join NAM SG Compliance team and contribute to compliance standards and controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments and liaise with regulators and internal partners.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support and guidance on regulatory requirements.
• Review materials, advise on cross-border distribution, and assist with governance forums.
• Deliver training on updated policies and participate in audits and investigations.
