Unknown Bank is seeking an Asset and Liability Management Analyst to monitor key financial indicators, analyze deposits, loans, NIM, and RWA, and support ALM initiatives across the organization.

The role focuses on data-driven decision making, developing automation and visualization tools, contributing to FTP framework improvements, and preparing materials for ALCO meetings. Strong communication with English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant banking experience.
• Solid understanding of ALM concepts including FTP, NIM, RWA, EVA.
• Familiarity with banking ALM frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data interpretation ability.
• Proficiency in Excel and data processing tools.
• Experience with SQL and BI visualization tools is advantageous.
• Strong report-writing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, written and spoken.

Job Description

• Monitor the branch's key financial indicators, including deposits and loans, income and profit, net interest margin (NIM), and risk-weighted assets (RWA), and perform analysis on significant movements and trends.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of the internal Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, monitor revenue changes, and contribute to pricing-related analysis.
• Conduct NIM attribution analysis and Economic Value Added (EVA) calculations, and prepare regular revenue and profitability reports for various business units.
• Develop and implement data automation and visualization tools to improve reporting efficiency and business analytics capabilities.
• Participate in new product testing initiatives and coordinate with Head Office on data inquiries, reporting submissions, and related matters.
• Prepare materials for Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO) meetings and assist in consolidating management reports and financial information.
• Maintain relevant databases, records, and reporting logs to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within the banking industry.
• Solid understanding of asset and liability management concepts, including FTP, NIM, RWA, EVA, income and profit analysis.
• Familiarity with banking ALM frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and business data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data processing tools.
• Experience with SQL and business intelligence (BI) visualization tools will be advantageous.
• Strong report-writing, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, including written and verbal communication skills, to liaise with internal and external Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
