Job summary

Ideals Recruitment Pte Ltd is hiring an Electrical Assembly Technician for a Japan MNC in Singapore West. You will assemble and install electrical components and systems, including control cabinets, panels, transformers, motors, sensors and grounding, ensuring quality and safety at every step.

Working Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, with company transport provided. You will perform functional checks of emergency stop circuits, interlocks, and indicators; verify system responses during operation; and maintain

Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics or a related field, or equivalent practical electrical assembly experience
• Hands on experience in electrical assembly or electrical installation
• Experience in precision or industrial equipment assembly is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical components and systems, including control cabinets and panels, power supplies, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, sensors, switches, safety devices, cables, connectors, terminals, and grounding points
• Perform functional checks of emergency stop circuits, door and safety interlocks, foot switches, control switches, and indicator lamps
• Verify correct response of electrical systems during operation, including axis or motor movement signals, sensor feedback and status indications, and alarm and warning indications
• Accurately complete electrical quality and inspection records for assigned work, recording settings, results, and pass/fail judgment clearly and completely
• Identify and report electrical issues such as incorrect wiring, loose connections, abnormal alarms, signal loss, incorrect rotation, feedback errors, or sensor faults
• Follow electrical safety procedures at all times, including lock-out and verification steps as required, and maintain good housekeeping in panels, cabinets, and work areas
