Job summary

GAIN CITY ENGINEERING (M&E) PTE LTD is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of the ASRS within the GAIN CITY warehouse. The role involves maintenance management, troubleshooting complex issues, and coordinating with vendors to support automation enhancements while ensuring safe operations at height.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years’ experience in warehouse automation, a relevant engineering degree, and strong knowledge of automation systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/automation engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of warehouse automation/ASRS experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, sensors, motors and conveyors.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or system integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with working at height safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance and performance of the ASRS system and related equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and automation faults affecting ASRS operations.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance for ASRS equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors, integrators and contractors for maintenance and upgrades.
• Monitor performance and analyze data for operational improvements.
• Support testing, commissioning and integration with WMS.
• Lead troubleshooting during breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide guidance and training to ASRS technicians and operators.
