Job summary

Shiseido Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is inviting a Regional Corporate Strategy Intern as part of the Shiseido NEXT Internship Programme 2027. This role offers exposure to pricing strategy, competitive benchmarking, data management, and BI across APAC markets.

You will support pricing analytics, Power BI development, and data governance while collaborating with the regional Corporate Strategy team to inform commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Undergrad/PG student in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, CS or related.

What You'll Do

As a Regional Corporate Strategy Intern, you will support the Regional Corporate Strategy team in preparing for the FY28 Pricing Exercise and advancing regional pricing analytics capabilities. This role provides exposure to pricing strategy, competitive benchmarking, data management, and business intelligence across APAC markets, supporting key commercial decisions and ongoing digitalisation initiatives.

You will:

1. FY28 Pricing Strategy Support

• Collect, validate, and maintain competitor pricing data across APAC markets.

• Conduct pricing research using official brand websites, e-commerce platforms, department stores, and other approved sources.

• Verify and update pricing information within existing databases to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

• Consolidate distributor market pricing across all brands and markets.

• Support the preparation of pricing databases, benchmarking analyses, and materials required for the FY28 pricing cycle.

• Identify pricing gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improving data quality.

2. Pricing Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Support the maintenance and enhancement of the regional Pricing Power BI platform.

• Consolidate and manage pricing data across Shiseido brands, competitor brands, and all markets, including distributor markets.

• Build and maintain structured datasets covering historical pricing, current pricing, competitor benchmarks, and cross-market comparisons.

• Standardise data formats and improve data governance to support reporting, analytics, and future automation initiatives.

• Prepare datasets for Power BI integration and dashboard development.

• Support data validation, reporting, ad hoc analyses, and dashboard enhancement projects.

• Where applicable, assist with Power BI development, automation opportunities, and process improvements.

Who We're Looking For

You are:

• Undergrad / Postgrad pursuing Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data management techniques.

• Experience with Power BI, Power Query is required.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large datasets.

• Comfortable conducting independent research and translating findings into actionable insights.

• Interest in commercial strategy, pricing, business intelligence, and data analytics.

A proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with data and solving business problems. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing large datasets, has a strong interest in pricing and commercial strategy, and is eager to apply analytics and Power BI capabilities to support regional decision-making across multiple markets and brands.
