Qualifications

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with auditors/regulators.
• Ability to operate at senior levels, influencing across IT domains.
• Extensive experience in IT governance, technology risk, or IT control roles in banking.
• Strong MAS technology and operational risk knowledge and familiarity with ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT.
• Regulatory familiarity for MAS Singapore and HKMA/SFC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the IT risk register, identify risks with IT owners, ensure assessments, treatments, and timely closure of risk actions.
• Coordinate IT risk processes (RCSAs, risk scenarios, KRIs/KPIs) and provide data-driven cyber risk insights.
• Translate MAS and internal policies into practical first-line controls and lead remediation.
• Serve as primary IT interface with auditors, coordinating evidence and management responses.
• Partner with Information Security, Non-Financial Risk, Compliance and COO for consistent risk treatment and governance.
• Chair IT Risk Management Forum in Asia for escalation and decision-making on material risks and incidents.
• Oversee dashboards/reports for senior management and risk committees.
• Drive continuous improvement of IT processes and controls with automation.
• Lead or support training for IT staff on technology risk and governance.
• Responsible for risk reporting to IT Risk Management Committee and Operational Risk Committees in Singapore and Hong Kong.
