Job summary

Tereos is seeking a seasoned Ethanol Trader to own the Asia ethanol book (fuel grade, B Grade, ENA) and generate positive P&L from Singapore-based operations. You will be the desk's reference point on Asian ethanol markets and work closely with the European and Brazilian offices.

Develop and manage the Asia ethanol book, build origination flows from US, Brazil, and regional producers, and secure partnerships across Asia.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in physical and derivatives commodities trading; exposure to Asian and/or US ethanol markets is preferred.
• Fluent English; an Asian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Asia ethanol book (fuel grade, B Grade, ENA) and generate positive P&L.
• Build origination flows of US, Brazilian and regional ethanol into Asia; structure partnerships and destination players.
• Liaise with European and Brazilian offices to keep ethanol SD and mandate analysis accurate and up to date.
• Report trading activity, positions and results accurately and on time.
