HSBC Holdings plc in Singapore is seeking an Associate Director - ASEAN Mid Cap Analyst to join the Equity Research team. You will cover mid-cap and growth companies across ASEAN markets, developing investment ideas and high-quality research for institutional investors.

You will build detailed financial models, analyse company financial statements and market trends, and prepare clear research notes, earnings updates and investment opinions.

Formación

• Relevant experience in equity research, investment analysis, investment banking, asset management or a related financial services discipline.
• Strong financial modelling, accounting, valuation and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Knowledge of ASEAN equity markets, listed companies and the factors influencing mid-cap and growth businesses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear, well-supported investment views to professional audiences.
• Strong research, attention to detail and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• A collaborative and intellectually curious approach, with the confidence to work independently and engage effectively with senior colleagues, clients and company management teams.

Responsabilidades

• Support the research coverage of mid-cap and growth companies across ASEAN markets and sectors.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts and valuation analyses for listed companies.
• Analyse company financial statements, operating performance, market trends and other relevant financial data.
• Conduct detailed industry, sector and company research to identify key investment drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Generate and develop investment ideas in collaboration with the Senior Analyst and wider research team.
• Prepare clear, accurate and timely research reports, company updates, earnings reviews and investment notes.
• Engage with corporate management teams, institutional investors and internal stakeholders to gather insights and communicate research views.
