Job summary

Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte. seeks Research Associates for the ASEAN Equity Research team in Singapore. You’ll work with Analysts across sectors to build earnings models, perform financial analysis, and translate findings into clear, actionable research.

You’ll monitor global sector developments, communicate implications to clients, support marketing materials and meetings, and collaborate with colleagues across time zones to deliver timely insights for a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above required.
• 1 year of equity research or relevant industry experience preferred.
• Solid grounding in financial modeling and accounting fundamentals.
• Proactive and able to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain earnings models and financial analysis with automation and AI tools where useful.
• Stay on top of relevant sector news and communicate implications for covered companies.
• Develop differentiated insights and translate them into clear research reports.
• Respond quickly to data and analysis requests from clients.
• Support Analysts in client-facing work: marketing materials and meetings.
• Exercise editorial judgment to ensure value and clear POV in reports.
