Job summary

Dyson Institute in Singapore is seeking a Regulatory Affairs specialist to define ASEAN regulatory requirements and ensure local product approvals across markets. You will work with category, engineering and C&A teams, while interfacing with regulators and certification bodies.

The role requires extensive knowledge of ASEAN regulatory frameworks, 10+ years in product approvals, and strong communication in English and local languages.

Qualifications

• Broad expertise in regional compliance and approvals for consumer products.
• Experience of product approvals, testing and registration for ASEAN markets.
• Excellent knowledge of the local regulatory authorities and their processes.
• An expert in understanding and interpreting industry standards.
• 10+ years of product approvals experience.
• Degree in science or engineering.
• Excellent communication in English and the local language(s).

Responsibilities

• Research, identify and document local regulatory requirements and feed into the C&A process.
• Maintain a close understanding of the regional regulatory landscape to identify changes, threats & opportunities.
• Understand Dyson technology direction to anticipate regulatory impact.
• Manage local approvals processes to ensure smooth clearance of Dyson products.
• Support local approvals testing activities to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with regulatory bodies, labs and others in the approvals landscape.
• Engage with local industry bodies and standardization committees to understand trends and influence outcomes.
• Collaborate with Dyson teams to improve speed and effectiveness of approvals processes.
• Act as a mentor for local C&A engineers and share knowledge.
