Job summary

The role involves co-teaching in classrooms designed for students with autism, using structured teaching, visual supports, and routines to support learning and behaviour. Fresh graduates are welcome; DISE qualification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience at a primary level (SPED preferred).
• DISE qualification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the Singapore National Curriculum, adapted for students with ASD.
• Co-teach in classrooms designed specifically for students with autism, working closely with a fellow teacher to share instructional and behavioural support responsibilities.
• Implement structured teaching strategies, visual support, and consistent routines tailored to ASD learner profiles.
• Design and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Individual Transition Plans (ITPs) in collaboration with families and professionals.
• Track student progress through data-informed assessments and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
