Job summary
PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced AS/400 developer to join our technology team in Singapore. You will study requirements, design, develop and implement IBM i based applications, using RPG, CL, and SQLRPGLE, while ensuring robust production support.
You will analyze business needs, optimize DB2/400 queries, and contribute to AS/400 modernization projects across the financial services domain, including payment interfaces and batch processing.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in AS400/IBM i development
- Strong knowledge of RPGLE, CLLE, SQL, DB2/400, and Query/400
- Experience in application support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- AS400 modernization projects experience
- ATM, Banking, Payment, or Financial Services domain experience
- Knowledge of EMV, NDC/DDC messaging, Visa, MasterCard, or UPI integrations
Responsibilities
- Study requirements, analysis, design, development and implementation
- Develop and maintain applications using RPG III, RPG IV, RPGLE, CLP, and SQLRPGLE
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions on the IBM i (AS400) platform
- Perform application enhancements, testing, debugging, and production support
- Develop and optimize DB2/400 database queries and programs
- Support interfaces, batch jobs, and system integrations
- Strong knowledge of the AS400 Programming Languages including RPGLE, CLLE, CBLLE, CBL
