Job summary

UST in Singapore is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to join our AI Engineering team. You will work with experienced architects and engineers to develop AI-powered applications, copilots, intelligent agents, and automation solutions using modern AI technologies.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/AI/DS/Engineering or math, with 0-2 years of experience, strong Python skills, and familiarity with REST APIs, AI/ML concepts, and cloud basics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience (including internships or academic projects).
• Strong Python programming fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Understanding of REST APIs and web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, and Prompt Engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud and database fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build and support AI applications, copilots, and agent-based solutions.
• Create prompts, workflows, and AI agent configurations.
• Develop and test APIs, integrations, and backend components.
• Prepare, validate, and manage data for AI use cases.
• Support model evaluation, testing, and quality assurance.
• Create technical documentation and solution artifacts.
• Participate in client demos, PoCs, and innovation initiatives.
