Responsibilities

• Plan lessons on art in accordance with student’s learning objectives.
• Prepare the classroom by gathering and setting up equipment.
• Develop students’ drawing, coloring, and painting techniques.
• Provide instruction on media such as graphite, charcoal pencils, oil, acrylic, and watercolor paint.
• Assign and grade projects and examinations.
• Record and report on students’ progress.
• Ensure the classroom is cleaned after each lesson.
• Monitor inventory and source art supplies as needed.
• Attend faculty and parent-teacher meetings.
