Job summary

Artgrain Holding Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an enthusiastic art teacher to plan and deliver engaging art lessons for children, teens and adults in our studio.

You will maintain teaching resources, assist at the reception, and help run studio programs, with weekend and some weekday afternoon availability.

Qualifications

• 1 year art teaching experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may apply.
• Ability to work on weekends and some weekday afternoons.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

About the role

Artgrain is an art education organisation that provides quality art education to enhance cognitive and emotional development. We aim to foster aesthetic experiences and the capacity to both create and appreciate art among children and adults alike.

Key responsibilities

• Plan art lessons and prepare art materials related to the lesson
• Teach and conduct art lessons to children, teens, and adult programs
• Upkeep of teaching resources, planning of lessons and materials
• Upkeep of the room and art materials within the art room
• Administrative duties to support the teaching and running of the studio, including work at the reception desk
• Handle enquiries and feedback from parents
• Design and planning of art projects and art programs

About you

• Passionate about sharing and teaching visual arts and art making
• Like to work with children, teens and adults
• Communicate well in English
• Like to work with a team of art educators and art practitioners
• Design related diploma and degree such as visual communication, animations, fine arts
• Art teaching experience of 1 year preferred
• Fresh graduates with relevant educational qualifications may apply
• Must be able to work weekends and some weekday afternoons
