Job Title: Area Sales Specialist Mumbai (100%)

Our company is expanding internationally and continuously growing. We are recruiting for our India region a professional for the position of Area Sales Specialist Mumbai.

Job Description
  1. Business Development: Develop the STAAR business in the assigned territory, including short-term goals and long-term strategies to build a premium market for implantable lens solutions for refractive errors.
  2. Revenue and Business Growth: Work towards exceeding business revenues (achieving and exceeding the defined budget) for the territory. Achieve marketing and sales objectives in the region.
  3. Support Activities: Provide sales and training support to distribution partners. Assist with promotional activities at regional/national congresses in India. Collect and analyze market-relevant data.
  4. Training and Support: Organize and conduct doctor and surgeon training, staff product awareness programs, and support doctors in the O.T. by demonstrating the injector system through dry demos. Guide surgeons on lens calculations and assist with the ordering process.
  5. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliant execution of business processes. Prepare and submit field activity reports and other required documentation timely.
  6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers, including doctors, opinion leaders, distributors, and peers. Ensure timely service and prompt response for customer satisfaction.
  7. Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as required by the manager.
Candidate Profile
  • Optometrist/B.Tech./B.Sc. Post Graduate/MBA preferred.
  • Excellent English skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of field sales experience, preferably in ophthalmology.
  • Open-minded and flexible attitude.
