AREA SALES REPRESENTATIVE - TRAVEL RETAIL

The incumbent, working very closely with the Area Sales Manager (ASM), is responsible for the aspects of assigned territory management of Indonesia, Myanmar, and Laos Travel Retail. He/she establishes very close links with the trade and plays an active role in the elaboration and implementation of consumer and trade programs. He/she coordinates the implementation of sales and trade marketing programs and monitors implementation KPIs and competitive activity.

As the Area Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Effective preparation and implementation of sales and distribution strategies including merchandising, shelf-space, and promotional programs as defined by the annual plan. Monitors progress and recommends corrective action where necessary.
  • Field intelligence and data gathering through sales force automation tool provided (TME) and executional KPI monitoring and reporting results to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Trade staff engagement at shop floor level, contributing to JTI positioning as preferred supplier and monitoring outsourced personnel performance.
  • Preparing and assisting in establishing the rolling forecast, LE, AP, and SP input and plans, and developing channel-specific plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualifications: University degree or equivalent (required). 3-4 years' experience in sales and distribution/channel management/field trade marketing. Experience in consumer/trade promotions management is a plus. Travel retail experience is an advantage.
