Area Sales Manager - SEA & ANZ (m/f/d)

Job Summary

This position requires the ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities within medium to large-sized manufacturing accounts. This person must penetrate new divisions and organizations within the assigned territories, use customer relationship management techniques to develop and maintain new business relationships, offer business proposals to prospective customers, create account management plans, and provide sales status reports to management.

Your Mission

Generate orders and manage Customers and Key-Accounts in defined Region

Develop and execute a market strategy in the Region

Manage relationships with customers and prospects in the Region

Ensure Order-Entry and Revenue Targets in the Region

Ensure customer satisfaction in the Region

Provide regular forecasts to the management of current and pipeline opportunities

Develop and manage relationship with distributors, including training, proposal management, joint customer presentations, etc.

Your Talents

Education to Bachelor’s degree level in engineering with a minimum 3 years of experience selling capital equipment and/or solutions for manufacturing process improvement.

Sales experience in the High-Tech manufacturing vertical is a plus.

Experience in Indirect Channel management is a distinct advantage.

Success with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques are essential.

Demonstrated ability and desire to hunt and grow accounts.

Proven sales experience in selling capital equipment in the areas of CAD/CAM, Tooling machines or Laser-Technology, expertise in selling Rapid Prototyping/Rapid Manufacturing systems is a distinct advantage.

Experience of conducting business in the Region

Experience in working internationally is an advantage.
