Job summary

A dynamic enterprise in the chemical industry in Singapore is looking for a Sales Executive to manage the sales volume of RMS products in the Asian markets. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, at least 3 years of relevant sales experience, and strong interpersonal skills. This role involves building customer relationships, identifying new leads, and working collaboratively with technical teams. The position requires travel and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

  • To fully responsible for sales volume for the RMS slate of products (Baseoil, Additives, VM, VE products) specifically for Asian markets
  • To build and maintain strong customer relationship with good understanding of customer’s needs and develop winning business strategies and to maintain existing business.
  • Identify new sales leads (hunter role), maintain strong sales pipeline to drive new and profitable business.
  • Develop business plan and identify sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales target.
  • Prepare monthly sales forecast and weekly activity reports.
  • Work closely with colleague and supervisor on analysis of market trend, to ensure continual improvement in our offer to customer to achieve sales objectives.
  • Work with Technical Engineer in technical troubleshooting.
  • Align with our principal’s direction on targeted segments and business strategy.
  • Manage customers’ credit performance.

Requirements :

  • Diploma/ Degree in any Engineering field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably sales experience, in Additives field.
  • Able to work independently as well as a good team work player.
  • Able to deliver presentation to a group of audience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience adapting to a challenging and fast-changing environment.
  • Understand supply chain of additives products/services in regional setting an advantage.
  • Willing to travel.
