Job Description: Area Sales Manager - Optical Division

Job Summary:

Eye Mantra Hospital is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) for the Optical Division to lead and expand our optical sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, and establishing strong relationships with customers and optical retailers in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the optical division. Identify and acquire new business opportunities, including optical stores, hospitals, and clinics. Drive sales of eyeglasses, lenses, and other optical products.
  2. Team Management: Lead and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team targets. Provide training, guidance, and support to sales representatives. Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company policies.
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers. Address customer queries, concerns, and provide post-sales support. Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs and preferences.
  4. Market Research & Analysis: Analyze market trends, competition, and customer demands to identify new opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies.
  5. Operational & Reporting Responsibilities: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the management. Collaborate with internal teams for inventory planning and promotional activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in optical sales, eyewear, or healthcare sales, preferably in hospitals or retail chains.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned area.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
