If you desire to be part of something special, to be part of a winning team, and to enjoy the fun of winning, we are looking for a Area Sales Manager in Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) business, based in Singapore.

Please apply if you have sales experience in Ex-proof products (lighting, socket, panel, junction box, etc.) and/or cable trays/ladders. Experience selling other products to similar end-customers in onshore, offshore, oil & gas, and heavy industries is also relevant.

What You'll Do

The primary responsibility is to manage all Singapore onshore business, Vietnam, Philippines, sales teams in Thailand & Malaysia, and B-Line business to meet sales and growth targets.

  • Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns. Manage daily sales activities to implement the overall sales strategy in Southeast Asia.
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against plans to identify issues.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to develop customer-oriented products and solutions.
  • Negotiate sales with strategic existing and new customers.
  • Contribute to sales, marketing, customer retention, and distribution strategies.
  • Manage distributors, supporting them technically, in marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and sales techniques.
  • Commit to and support the Quality Management System (QMS), including implementing processes, supporting its goals, and fostering continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required. A minimum of 8 years of sales and marketing experience is necessary.
