AREA MANAGER, SELF RUN CONCEPTS

Overview

We are looking for a highly driven and versatile Area Manager to champion the growth of Self Run Concept's existing and new developing brands. In this dynamic role, you will be key to both the operational success and profitability of the business, while also having the opportunity to drive innovation by overseeing the complete development and launch of new menu concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead New Concept & Brand Launches:
  • Lead the complete development, planning, and successful launch of new menu concepts and emerging brands, overseeing the entire process from initial development, brand set up and preparation, pilot programs, and ongoing optimization.
  • Work in close partnership with product development, marketing, supply chain, and culinary teams to ensure seamless integration and market readiness of all new offerings.
  • Conduct post-launch performance monitoring, analyze sales data and gather critical feedback, and recommend improvement for sustained success and expansion
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for new concept development or process innovation

  • Lead Brand Operations & Profitability:
  • Achieve sales growth and manage full Profit & Loss, exceeding monthly revenue and operational targets (sales, labor, food, occupancy costs).
  • Champion brand standards, service quality, and efficiency through regular audits and outlet visits, ensuring strict compliance with operational and food safety policies.
  • Optimize staff deployment and manage labor hours scheduling to ensure efficient operations and cost control within emerging brands.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to pinpoint trends, identify bottlenecks, and inform strategic improvements.
  • Promptly resolve customer feedback and complaints, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Drive Operational Efficiency:
  • Lead initiatives to significantly improve overall operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability within brand operations.
  • Develop, refine, and champion Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to elevate operational capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate strategically with the Operations Excellence team to streamline workflows, integrate new technologies, and drive ongoing, impactful improvement projects.
  • Workforce Management
  • Provide coaching and support to outlet supervisors and staff, fostering a highly motivated, high-performance, and customer-first culture.
  • Recruit, train, onboard, and actively develop staff for new or expanding brand operations, grooming future leaders.



KPI’s Include

  • Achieve monthly revenue and operational targets (sales, labor, food, occupancy).
  • Ensure stringent adherence to brand standards and audit targets.
  • Optimize staff deployment and labor hours scheduling.
  • Submit accurate monthly departmental reports.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Food & Beverage Management and/or Hospitality and Tourism
  • At least 5-6 years of relevant working experience working in similar roles in the F&B industry
  • Proven P&L management, sales drive, and data-driven decisions.
  • Experience leading operational transformations and new product/brand launches.
  • Strong coaching, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, solutions oriented, organized; manages complex projects in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.
  • Proficient in operational/project management
  • Proficient in software (E.g. Google Suite)
