Job description

    As an Area Manager Mobile Fueling at Jio-bp, your main responsibility will be to achieve set volume targets of High Speed Diesel (HSD) through Mobile Fueling Business. You will need to work on implementing a plan of action to reach the set volume targets, market share, and margin objectives for sales through Mobile Dispensing Units (MDU) & Portable Fuel Containers (PFC). Close coordination with State Teams and Head office is crucial to assist in achieving sales targets.Your role will also involve continuously gathering market insights to assess Jio-bp's competitive position in the market including network, pricing, promotions, and product gaps. You will provide inputs on pricing strategy to the respective Product/Business Head and design demand generation activities through channel partners to maximize sales.Managing operations efficiently by monitoring location-wise sales, troubleshooting issues in coordination with various teams, and ensuring proper maintenance and safety of assets such as PFCs, MDUs, and IT equipment will be part of your responsibilities. Coordinating with statutory authorities like PESO, RTO, and others to ensure timely approvals for MDUs and continuous operations is essential.Additionally, you will need to streamline and expand the channel network for optimal performance and maximum reach in the target areas. Working closely with Channel Partners to increase customer base, operational efficiency, and acquire new customers will be key. Providing timely feedback for improvement, supporting state teams in acquiring necessary permissions, and implementing automation initiatives will also fall under your purview.To qualify for this role, you should ideally hold a B.E / B. Tech degree with an MBA being preferable. You should have 4 to 6 years of experience, including at least 1 year as ASR or TSM in Petro Retail Business. Experience in Retail/Marketing/Channel sales in FMCG/Consumer Durables/Automobile Industry will be advantageous.Your skills and competencies should align with the requirements of Retail/Marketing/Channel sales in FMCG/Consumer Durables/Automobile Industry.
