ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Operations Manager (OM) / Head of Operations (HOO), this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the Operations Team. Individuals will gain experience in managing foodcourts and coffeeshops.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations
- Lead a team of Senior / Foodcourt Managers to achieve sales targets and enhance outlet performance.
- Provide guidance to Senior / Foodcourt Managers and F&B Supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Set directions and provide guidelines to the operational team in accordance with company SOPs and workflows.
- Maintain good relationships with landlords, authorities, agencies, and stall tenants.
- Assist inspectors from authorities such as NEA, SFA, and Civil Defense during inspections and follow-ups.
- Liaise with landlords on building matters, promotions, and events.
- Market food stalls to tenants and ensure prompt rental collection.
- Manage lease renewal agreements, negotiate terms, and follow up with tenants.
- Source qualified tenants and food types to fill vacant stalls and ensure all stalls are occupied.
- Propose market-driven activities.
- Handle debt recovery actions, including legal proceedings if necessary.
- Manage daily sales settlements.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Projects to identify new business opportunities and oversee site build and renovation.
- Oversee financial and operational performance of designated Foodcourt and Coffeeshop areas.
- Coordinate with senior management and finance on budgets.
- Develop business plans and report on performance, sales, and budgets regularly.
- Implement solutions to improve profit margins.
- Maintain quality and service standards.
- Develop employees through feedback and performance management.
- Conduct regular checks on hygiene, service, and product quality, providing feedback to teams and tenants.
- Ensure stall pricing aligns with agreements.
- Evaluate stall tenants' performance.
- Supervise stall tenants and cleaning contractors to ensure service quality and housekeeping standards.
- Conduct weekly and monthly outlet meetings.
- Ensure M&E works are completed as scheduled.
Administration
- Review staff performance, recommend promotions, and organize training.
- Handle disciplinary issues, grievances, disputes, and work tensions.
- Manage termination procedures per company guidelines.
- Communicate company policies effectively to staff and tenants.
- Manage outlet float, petty cash, and daily sales collections.
- Ensure accurate and timely deposit of daily sales.
- Submit monthly reports to senior management.
- Control costs and expenses within budgets.
- Address non-conformance issues with tenants and contractors.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Passion for the F&B industry and understanding of operational processes.
- Diploma in F&B, supply chain, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in foodcourt operations.
- Ability to build positive working relationships.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Possession of a Class 3 driving license.
